A parent requests to join through FIRST
A parent or guardian — not the student — registers through our team's FIRST page. This is the front door: it creates a tracked request rather than an email that can get buried, and you will hear back either way.

We accept the request
Requests arrive in our FIRST Dashboard, where a coach accepts or declines. FIRST emails you the outcome automatically, so nothing sits in limbo.

Complete our paperwork and sign
Once accepted, a parent or guardian receives a secure signing link. You provide contact and emergency information and sign the Team Agreement and the Consent, Assumption of Risk, Release & Emergency Authorization. The student signs their own acknowledgment of the safety rules.

Start attending, and join the team Slack
You get access to our Slack workspace — schedules, announcements, shop access details, and competition information — and your student starts coming to meetings.
Parents: ready to register?
Pick your student's program and register through FIRST. It takes a few minutes, and you will get an email when we accept the request. Registration must be completed by a parent or legal guardian.
Not sure which program fits, or have questions first? Ask us — but if your student is ready, register above. It is the reliable path.
What we ask for, and why
We collect the minimum needed to run a safe program and reach someone in an emergency.
About the student
Name and grade. Email and phone are optional — for younger students we would rather reach a parent. We do not ask for a date of birth.
About parents and guardians
Name, email, and phone for at least one parent or guardian, and a second if you want us to be able to reach them. This is who we call first if something happens in the shop.
Health and emergency information
Allergies, medical conditions, activity restrictions, and medications our mentors would need to know about in an emergency. Share only what is relevant to that.
Your media choice
Whether we may use photos and video of your student. It is a genuine choice and not a condition of participation — students take part either way.
A note on how this works
Registration is completed by a parent or guardian, not by the student, and it happens on a secure signing platform rather than on this website. This site collects nothing.
